We are still in need of volunteers throughout the day, doing a variety of jobs. Please sign up for at least two consecutive hours of work during these times.
Here are the work details and times throughout the day that we need volunteers: (You can certainly volunteer for two hours here & two hours there if you'd like!)
- 6:30am-9:45am - Site set up: setting up tents, booths, tables, chairs, signs, etc.
- 8:00am-9:30am - Welcome exhibitors: show exhibitors to their sites, help unload, etc.
- 8:00am-5:00pm - Parking attendants
- 8:30am-5:00pm - Man the prize tent: checking in prizes/helping people with tickets, etc.
- 8:30am-7:00pm - Man the SWM store booth: set up, sell t-shirts and other merchandise, pack up
- 10:00am-6:00pm - Man trash areas: help keep garbage, recycling & compost separate & empty as needed
- 9:30am-6:00pm - Man the Welcome tables: hand out programs, answer questions, etc
- 6:00pm-7:30pm - Clean Up Crew: break down tents, tables, etc
- 10:00am-6:00pm - Help at SWM booth: answer questions about SWM events & programs
If you have some flexibility with what time you are able to volunteer please let us know and we can fit you in where our schedule is short.
When signing up please remember to list your name, email address, cell phone number, the hours you are available and your t-shirt size. (t-shirts for volunteers are available in M, L, and XL) Also, include your first and second choices of work detail you would prefer to do.
We will accomodate you as best we can. We have many volunteers already signed up and will assigning job preferences on a first come, first serve basis.
