Sustainable West Milford is a non-profit organization that looks to "Enable community members to transform West Milford and it's regional neighbors into an economically vibrant, environmentally friendly, and sustainable community through their personal participation and leadership."

As the timeless Hopi Indian expression relates:

"We are the ones we have been waiting for."

In other words, We are people just like you that have grown tired of waiting for someone else to "fix it."

We are people just like you that have decided to step up and make the changes that are so desperately needed.

We are people just like you that want to leave a better place behind for our children and their childrens' children

We are people just like you who don't know how this will all work out but are courageous enough to find out.

We are people just like you that believe they can make a difference.

We are people just like you that have unique skills, abilities, and interests which, when focused collectively on a shared vision, can achieve anything.
