My name is Maria Baez. My username is greenmaria. The Autumn Lights Festival is something that I would love to help out with. I'm very strongly considering majoring in enviromental studies and am a part of my enviromental club at my school. I saw the times that you need help for the festival, but no dates. Please inform me of the date of the festival and I would love to help. I'm also looking to expand our Enviromental Club so any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Wendy/Dave: I'll be happy to help out at the Autum Lights Fesitval... I can talk to people about about Hybrid Cars, composting, wood burning fireplace inserts, the Rutgers Environmental Stewards Program, or any number of other topics.... Gary

I'll be there all day! I'm baking healthy cookies and handing out a one sheet that helps people understand what 'healthy eating' really is and has the cookie recipie on the back. I am also making some healthy food just for us volunteers to eat during the day (VEGAN!) I'll also have CD's for sale and will help with survey's or whatever else is needed. Glad to come in from ST. Louis to help!

We have heard from the ALF committee that we will be on the street in front of Pinecliff Dam kind of near the large Orange Rockland tent. Be sure to park behind Rockport, Bearfort or Belchers Run. You can also park on the Shoprite side of things and then just walk down the street - whatever works for you! If you are helping to set up in the morning (bless you people!), we need to have our stuff dropped off and our cars out of the way by 8:30. D&W will be there at 8:00am to set up. For those of you coming in the afternoon (bless you too!), we will be breaking down NO LATER than 5:00pm and will high-tail it out of there! Some highlights: -Transportation and travel buddy surveys for residents (Elvis - you know you love this!)
-Gary O. will have information on hybrid cars and wood stoves
-Renne will have information on recycling
-Bridgette (our friend from St. Louis) will have information on health eating and have great cookies for sampling
-Jade will have bottles, mugs, bags and books to sell
-Raffle this year is a laptop lunch box (re-usable and healthy!)
-High School Green Team will be running environmental games and mural coloring for kids
-We will sign people up to support the Medicinal Garden and get 2009 Community Garden Plots If you have your SWM t-shirt, please wear it. If you don't have one, we'll have a few medium and large ones at the booth for you to 'represent'
THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT!!!!!
