I need some strong help this Saturday, 6/14, to deliver & install the wonderful bench Roger made for the garden. The bench is heavy & can travel on my car on roof racks. Looking to work from 11am - 1pm. I'll bring neccessary tools. Thank you!

Hey everyone, it's true! We have a beautiful new oak bench, harvested from the woods of West Milford and crafted as a most generous offering by Roger Knight of Two Pond Farms. Thank you Roger! This will be a perfect addition to the garden. Wait till you see it. And the plants are doing very well this year, lots of new ones. Come visit. And Katie took some pics. The Bench has made its way to the Garden - come see, sit, enjoy! Many thanks to Dan Oquendo for helping me install it Friday evening.
Roger Knight did a fabulous job building it - he harvested an Oak tree from Two Ponds Farm & milled the lumber himself. A yeoman's job. After I sanded out the milling marks Dan & I carted it up to the Garden & put it in place, where the tools used to be. We tethered the back legs to encourage it to stay with us, so please don't try to move it. The wood is still green & needs to season before getting finish put on it - hopefully this fall or winter.
Kudos again to Roger for a beautiful job & an impressive contribution to Sustainable West Milford!
