Opening Day at the Community Garden
Bring your family & friends to help us kick off the planting season at the Community Garden! Join us for a day of festivities, starting at 10am. Learn about the Three Sisters, a Native American tradition of companion planting as we plant corn and beans. Local farmers will have seedlings, eggs, fresh produce, preserved foods, etc available for sale. We will also have face painting, a garden tour, snacks & refreshments, and more!

11:00am – Communal Planting: The Three Sisters, a Native American tradition of companion planting 11:45am – AJ Bozenmayer gives talk on growing mushrooms
After 12:30pm – Jill Michele plays crystal bowls
