This month's agenda includes project updates. We will hear updates about the Medicinal Native Garden, upcoming Community Garden projects & events, and finalize details for this year's Pizza Olympics Fundraiser.

Our guest speaker will be Gary Oppenhiemer talking to us about "Easy Composting for the Homeowner"  Join us and learn how to recycling your kitchen scraps, garden waste and other things around your home.  When you toss that banana peel, the soggy corn flakes, the now dead bouquet or the table scraps into the garbage, you are adding to global warming, increasing your cost of gardening/lawn care (and taxes!), and missing a great opportunity to recycle.  This presentation  will be a close  look at what composting is, the ways it can be done, why you should do it, and a look at some of the things you may never have thought you could compost.
