The Second Annual Highland Greenfest was held Saturday, May 16, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at Bubbling Springs Park, 1428 Macopin Road, West Milford, NJ 07480

The theme of the festival was to Live, Protect, and Enjoy the region we live in. The festival included over 70 'green' vendors and speakers, all day long live music, healthy food, and a variety of activities for both children and adults designed to help attendees learn to live green, protect the environment, and enjoy nature.

Live
This section of the festival included exhibitors and activities that offered ways for attendees to live more sustainably through the products they use, the elements they incorporate into their homes and the food they eat and grow. This includes information about community participation, water and energy conservation, alternative transportation options, and how choosing to support the local economy wherever possible benefits the community.

Protect
This section of the festival include dexhibitors and activities that will enable attendees to protect the environment. This includes local, state and national programs and non-profits who are looking to educate people on how to protect our water, earth and air.

Enjoy
This section of the festival included exhibitors and activities that encourage attendees to enjoy nature in healthy and sustainable ways.
