Wild and Native Medicinal Garden Update

The other volunteers and I put a lot of time and love into the Native and Wild Medicinal plant garden (aka Douglass Memorial Garden) over the past couple of weeks. It is looking so beautiful! We have a new bench, and parking area, too.

Each month I share specific medicinal information for identifying and preparing the plants that are ready to be harvested.

Come join us on our next workday and learn to tend to and understand the plants and their benefit to us. We have a few more paths to open up and mulch to spread and could really use a hand. The garden will heal you as you work!

Our next work date is Sunday August 20th from 11am to 3pm. We'll have a song and drum circle afterward, too. Come for the whole time or any part of it. We'll be glad to see you and we have tools (and tea and snacks!) to share.

Robin Rose also encourages you to support Karen Longo as she takes over the herbal education series with her next one hour class on June 19th from 7:30-8:30 pm. Future classes are August 21 and October 16th. She has so much to share! Herbal medicine is the people's medicine. Invest the time, and take your health into your own hands.
